Sumo can be a legitimate sport for women too, as these scenes from the 7th World Championship and other serious tournaments show. As in the sport male version, fighters dress a loincloth but with an ugly piece of cloth underneath while the male giants can display their flesh volume unencumbered. A typical sexist prejudice.
