The popular submission hold is back on Theater Four. An healthy bunch of clips from You Tube is there but could be more: for some reason, my playlist has 80 videos but only the first 50 or so appears.

Into The Basement: Final (Who Knows?)

From the same video mentioned in the last post of this series, comes one more fight with two first-time (???) wrestlers. As you already know the setting, I will let enjoy the sample. By the way, each fight had a different duration, consequence of the very natural and improvised scheme of things.

Frantic Camera

This sample clip lasts 3 to 4 minutes and the whole fight some 25 minutes. Along the way, the camera operator did an estimate 2,564 in/out zooms over the scene in which two sexy Japanese pro-wrestlers execute their repertoire of holds.

Ah, and he/she also forgot to use the camera light meter...

Ludicrously Sexy

A Blog reader, who happens to be a blogger also (portuguese only), has one interesting clip about a Latin American interpretation of a roller derby. It is held in a pro-ring and, as usual down there, the women are astonishing. But the remaining is blatantly camp: the "fighters" hardly can stand up (because of the skates or the body center of gravity pushed to the back?), the camera is trembling and there is a moron in the ring sometimes hiding the view.

Look at what happens when two strong and skilled fighters clash for Monica Wrestling. They are Flame Dragon and Wildkat with igniting sparks as the struggle goes on. As in many competitive fights, holds stay applied for minutes until one wrestler give up or - rarely, reverses it.

Some Skin Visible

I have rarely seen so heavily tattooed women like two of the fighters below. The first - not exactly a fight but a rubbing exercise - is from an unknown source; the second one, from Kontex, features some competitiveness.

Mutiny is an young wrestler but already with a strong résumé: she fought for APL, IWOWA, SleeperKidWorld among others and now has her own enterprise. End of the year holidays, you are in a nice beach in a tropical country, nobody nearby, all of a sudden, these two goddesses come from nowhere, (un) dressed up and... start a grudge fight by the water! A Foxy Combat production, cleverly named The Beach, with Nicola and Marlies.
